Job Description: Emergency Management Executive
(Responsible for the efficient 24/7 management of 108 services in the designated territory)
Operations:
Ensure cost-efficient and high-quality service delivery.
Timely escalation of unresolved concerns.
Track and submit MIS & management reports regularly.
Manage key performance metrics, including:
Fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, tyres utilization, breakdowns, accidents, emergency calls, VB, SNR, response time etc.The EME will be responsible for managing approximately 25 to 30 ambulances and around 100 personnel within the district.
Ambulance (Fleet and Material Management):
Ensure ambulance uptime and optimal performance.
Oversee statutory compliance, fuel utilization, scheduled servicing and warranty claims.
Handle accident and breakdown recovery and ensure prompt processing of insurance claims.
Build and enhance business relations with local vendors (spare parts dealers, workshops, tyre & battery suppliers and fuel stations).
Manage inventory at both district and ambulance levels (spares, medical equipment, medical consumables).
Review and close audit observations/NCs and report to the Quality team.
Manage ambulance imprest amounts and ensure prompt submission of fleet-related bills.
Manpower (Human Resource & Field Management):
Prepare duty rosters, schedule resources, and manage attendance, leave, and performance for ambulance staff.
Develop and implement monthly plans for ambulance visits, inspections, and record maintenance.
Disseminate information, processes, and policies to field staff.
Coordinate and execute regular training modules for EMTS/Pilots (internal and external).
Drive employee engagement and motivation initiatives.
Support the HR team with recruitment, disciplinary actions, grievance redressal, and industrial relations (IR) issues.
Maintain strong partnerships with district officials and hospital authorities.
Manage media relations and coordinate events (vehicle launches, awareness campaigns and beneficiary meetings).
Educational Qualifications:
BE or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Business Administration, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Master’s in any discipline.
Experience: 0 – 5 Years (Freshers may also apply)
Note:
i) Preference will be given to candidates with experience in manpower management.
ii) In addition to the above tasks, the Emergency Management Executive may be assigned other responsibilities by reporting managers as needed.
Owning a personal bike is mandatory for the Emergency Management Executive position as the role requires visiting at least two ambulances per day within the district.
