Job Description: Veterinary Officers 

EMRI GHS, Gujarat is hiring qualified and passionate Veterinary Officers to provide preventive and curative treatment to livestock under the 1962 MVU services in Gujarat. Selected candidates will be part of mobile veterinary unit responsible for delivering doorstep veterinary service to the farmer across the state.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide treatment to livestock as per the standard veterinary practices.

  • Diagnose and manage common animal diseases and emergencies.

  • Conduct vaccination and animal health camp.

  • Maintain accurate records of treatment, patient data and medicine usage.

  • Ensure timely reporting and documentation as per 1962 MVU guidelines.

  • Work collaboratively with support staff (paravet and driver) in the mobile unit.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & AH) from a recognized university.

  • Age: Maximum 65 Years

  • Gujarat Veterinary Council registration will be preferred or NOC from Assam Veterinary Council will also be considered. 

 

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel along with assigned MVUs.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and under field conditions.

Attractive salary package as per the government norms for MVUs.
